Hope

Speaker: Pastor Gary
Date: Sunday, 9-Dec-2018

Listen online

Romans 12:12 (The Passion Translation) says it like this..."Let this hope burst forth within you, releasing a continual joy. Don't give up in a time of trouble, but commune with God at all times."

It's my prayer that hope would be bursting forth within all of us this Christmas season.

"Don't Look Back"

As we enter the final lap of 2018, I pray our aim would be to finish well. With the finish line in sight I won't look back, slow down, back away, or give up.
Philippians 3:13 "...Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead."

Restored

Speaker: Pastor Gary
Date: Sunday, 25-Nov-2018

Listen online

It's amazing to think that our lives can be restored!
Roman's 5:1 "Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ"
May our prayer be like that of psalm 51:12 "Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

Regect/Neglect

Speaker: Pastor Bill
Date: Sunday, 18-Nov-2018

Listen online

How shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation? It was declared at first by the Lord, and it was attested to us by those who heard, Hebrews 2:3 (ESV)
The key to not neglecting the Lord, is a "Thanksliving" life of thankfulness for what God has done for us.

And He said to them, "Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables?Mark 4:13 (NKJV).
Jesus teachings in this parable is the key to understanding and living the victorious Christian life.

Serving a Higher Purpose

Speaker: Pastor Gary
Date: Sunday, 04-Nov-2018

Listen online

Roman's 8:28 (NASB) "And we know that God causes all things to work together for good, to those who love God. To those who are called according to His purpose."

The Heart of the Issue

Speaker: Pastor Gary
Date: Sunday, 28-Oct-2018

Listen online

Proverbs 4:23 "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life."

Be on guard...

When scripture talks about the heart, it's not talking about that life sustaining muscle. Its talking about our entire inner being. The heart is the seat of our emotions, the seat of decisive action, and the seat of belief (as well as doubt).

Generation to Generation Part 2 - Unsung Heros

Speaker: Pastor Gary
Date: Sunday, 21-Oct-2018

Listen online

True heroes are hard to identify. They don't look like heroes.
Give us four stars, titles, and headlines. But something tells me that for every hero in the spotlight, there are dozens in the shadows. They don't get press. They don't get crowds. They don't write books.
Unsung by human standards but blessed by God.

Psalm 1:1-2 "Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners or sit in the company of mockers.
But whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on His law day and night."

Generation to Generation

Speaker: Pastor Gary
Date: Sunday, 14-Oct-2018

Listen online

Every family has its challenge and tragedies. But in the end we'll see the results of passing on His truth from generation to generation.

Psalm 145:4 "One generation shall praise your works to another, and declare Your mighty acts."

Learning to Rest in the Lord

Speaker: Pastor Gary
Date: Sunday, 07-Oct-2018

Listen online

Let me ask you, how was your week? Busy? Stressed? Life as usual? Or has it taken an unfamiliar twist? Was it one of those "just keep swimming, just keep your head above water" weeks, or did you find rest?
Psalm 37:7a "Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him..."
Sometimes that's so much easier said than done. Until we do it! THEN we see that it's really the easiest thing we'll ever do! Rest in the Lord.
